1/21/2026 »» Added links to a new page for the only operational launch facility for the SM-62 Snark missile system located at Presque Isle AFB. The 556th SMS was initially assigned the Snark IRBM from 1957 thru 1959 before being re-activated as an Atlas F squadron in 1961. The Squadrons page and Missile Launch Facilities page contains the new page link.
1/19/2026 »» Updated Squadrons page with a new National Squadron Location Map. The updated page includes a map of the United States showing the locations of all Atlas squadrons and launch facilities. Also, added new pages for 579th SMS Missile Silo Site Accidents at Site 2 and Site 5 .
1/15/2026 »» New Missile Launch Facilities page. A new page which provides links to the thirteen sites used to launch missions using Atlas ICBM missiles. Each launch site link leads to a new web page dedicated to that facility.

1/1/2026 »» All thirteen individual Atlas missile squadron sites have been "merged" into AtlasMissileSilo.com. Previously each squadron had its own separate domain registration and web site. Now the squadron sites are included within the AtlasMissileSilo.com "master" site. The Squadrons page now provides links to each of the home pages for the missile squadron "sub-sites" contained within AtlasMissileSilo.com.
